Welcome fellow boy/girl racers looking to get your racing fix on.
Today I’m going to be showing you the GREATEST racing games ever made, some simulators, some just for fun and others that allow you to do 500 feet jumps.
It’s safe to say this list will be EPIC, so grab a cup of coffee, sit down and be ready to find the racing game of your dreams.
On a side note you can learn exactly how I get all my games half price using this cheap game finder.
Tip: I’ve built the best price finder, it searches 50 + shops and finds the best price, so just click the links below the game and it’ll do everything for you.
Anyway, let’s get this STARTED!
Forza Horizon 3
Forza Horizon is my FAVORITE racing game as it delivers a flawless driving experience, in a beautiful open-world with some of the best car customizations that can be applied to hundreds of licensed cars.
It doesn’t get much better than that does it?
If you’re looking for a racing game that really does chuck you in head first and give you a fun, realistic racing experience then Forza should be your game of choice.
Dirt: Rally
If you enjoy the rally, then dirt rally will be the game for you.
It’s the ultimate rally simulator with a selection of fine rally cars, amazing tracks and some of the best car driving mechanics I’ve seen in any rally game.
The feedback from the car is submissive and I can’t imagine how fun this would be with a good simulator wheel and peddles.
Project Cars
Project cars is a deep driving simulator which has been tried, tested, guided and approved by passionate racing fans and real-life drivers.
You have hundreds of cars to choose from, next-gen graphics and the ability to play on VR for total submersion.
Pick a car, pick your track and let that throttle open up.
Grand Theft Auto
I don’t care what anyone says GTA has one of the best driving mechanics I’ve ever experienced.
The fun I’ve had driving real, completing stunts, going off road and running from police is unmatchable and for that reason, it’s one of my favorite car games of ALL TIME.
If you enjoy smashing, jumping and flying through the air then you too may enjoy the bliss GTA offers us drivers.
You can get it for just 15 dollars using this link for Xbox, PS4 and PC.
If you like GTA style games then check out this list of games just like GTA (Even better) and if you just want GTA you can check out these grand theft auto mods that make it a new game.
Need For Speed
Need for Speed is a little old school, but I can’t lie this game holds a special place in my life.
Even though I’d love to see a new edition to the series there’s still plenty to enjoy if you’ve got a PC or play one of the console version games of this franchise.
If you like Need for Speed check out these games that are just like need for speed but better.
The Crew 2
The crew is an open world car game that’s packed with content and things to do.
With over 30 hours of story and 220 missions along with over 200 customization kits, this game is packed to the top.
You’ll also have fun with the innovative cops vs Racer mechanic that’s lots of fun for people who like being chased like myself.
Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo
No rally game has beaten dirt rally yet, but this game can be lots of fun in the right hands.
The game itself is awesome, the only real downside is that it just doesn’t give me enough to do, that being said it’s still a top rally game that you should all make your own mind up on.
WRC 6
WRC is another solid rally game with tons of great features.
This game really does make you feel like a rally driver, it pushes your in-game driving skills to the max and takes time to learn and just like anything great, it gets better with age.
WRC has came a long way from the PS2 edition and I will say that this game balances realism with playability, you’re not always fighting the car, instead, it feels like you are the car.
Shift 2
It’s a little older than most the games on this list but it’s a great classic that’s still a lot of fun to play.
This isn’t going to be as detailed as the latest games on this list, but if you’re happy to put that aside you can enjoy a classic Need for Speed racing game.
TrackMania 2: Canyon
Sometimes we all want to let our hair down and have some fun and Trackmania is exactly that.
It’s not a driving simulator, nor is it set in a world with real physics, in-fact, it’s an adrenaline-packed game where all maps have you flying through the air at hundreds of miles an hour, and I mean who doesn’t like that?
With its awesome map editor, crazy stunt opportunities and an active community you can have loads of fun in this world wind of a game.
Driver: San Francisco
Another classic game that I truly enjoy the hell out of.
Driver is a mix between GTA and Starsky and Hutch and that alone should allow you to conceptualize the awesomeness that awaits the players.
There are cars, bikes and awesome missions, even customization.
This game is the perfect balance of driving, fighting and fun and should definitely be tried by all car lovers.
F1 2017
If you came here for graphics, realism and hardcore racing, then F! will be the game you go for.
kickstart your career as an F1 driving and see just how far you make it in the pumped up world of F1.
22 drivers, 11 teams and 10 sessions, will you win, reach fame and kick your competition’s butt? Only time will tell.
iRacing
IRacing is an awesome car simulator, with both fantastic graphics and realistic car driving.
The only downside to this game is that it comes on a monthly subscription that even though it’s awesome is a little steep for people who’re like me and enjoy buying a game and having it forever.
If you can get past that then you’re opened into a world of pure awesome car racing.
Assetto Corsa
Assetto Corsa may be one of the most talked about car games of the past years.
This game not only has an AWESOME community of people who constantly play it, but it comes packed with cars, tracks, and features that leave even seasoned car game lovers in ore.
With 9 game modes, tons of cars and loads of tracks you’ll really enjoy an awesome racing experience while playing this game.
SPINTIRES
Less of a race game and more of a truck driving simulator.
SpinTires opens you up to a world of large vehicles and your job is to venture across rugged landscapes with only a map and compass.
Valentino Rossi: The Game
We all love racing, but it doesn’t always have to be with cars… Valentino Rossi (the game) opens up a new world of racing that involve motorbikes.
From power, to dirt, you’ll experience a real variety of driving and this can be a breath of fresh air for seasoned race gamers looking for something new.
Gran Turismo Sport
What would this list be without one of the greatest car games to ever hit the shelves?
Grand Turismo doesn’t need explaining, this is they car racing simulator and if that’s what you’re after then you just can’t go wrong with this bad boy.
You can’t tune your cars like you can in Forza, but the graphics, ai and driving really do make up for that.
This is more than just a car game, it’s art… For that reason, if you own a PS4 you kinda have to own this as a right of passage into the driving world.
Trackmania Turbo
If you’re here just for a good time then Trackmania will mesmerize you.
This arcade-style racing game with over 200 tracks, most of which have you flying through the air at 160 MPH is seriously addictive.
You not only get to play hundreds of stunt-filled tracks, but you gain assess to the editor that allows you to make your own tracks and play other people’s tracks.
With VR compatible this game really does open you up to an awesomely fun racing experience and you can get it all for $7 on PC and at an AWESOME discount on PS4 and Xbox using the link above.
BeamNG.Drive
Like cars? Like simulating car crashes? You’ll love Beam.NG, the ultimate crash simulator.
BeamNG allows you to explore cars and the damage that would be caused if you flew off a mountain at 100 MPH.
It’s a creative person heaven and can be tons of fun trying and testing out different situations.
